Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: Akron, OH
Duration: 12 months
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Pay: $20 - $25/hour W2
Key Responsibilities
- Weigh and handle raw materials using proper laboratory techniques.
- Mix, process, and prepare rubber compounds using Banbury mixers, mills, and cure presses.
- Prepare rubber specimens using hand tools and laboratory equipment.
- Perform physical and chemical testing using specialized laboratory instrumentation.
- Troubleshoot equipment, software, and laboratory processes.
- Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures and policies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1–2 years of related laboratory, testing, mechanical, manufacturing, rubber, or polymer experience.
