We are a leading-edge medical laboratory testing company currently seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to join our team in Las Vegas, NV.
Job Description
- Works 20 hours per week in small one to two person STAT lab, and 20 hours per week in a client facility
- Oversees 3-4 per diem technologists in the client facility
- Oversees 1 technologist in stat lab
- Perform tests,
- Complete instrument maintenance,
- Ensure CLIA/CAP compliance, and various other job duties
- Utilize some of the instruments used: Dimension, Immulite, Integra 400, Act-5, CA560, Elecsys 210
- Travel up to 50% between Las Vegas, NV and Phoenix, AZ
Qualifications
- Normally requires a B.S./B.A in either Medical Technology or Clinical Lab Sciences w/1-3 years of experience as a Laboratory Supervisor and 1-2 years as a Medical Technologist
- ASCP certification preferred
- Requires a State of Nevada General Supervisor license
