Building Location:Support Services Center - FargoDepartment: LAB ADMINISTRATION - 32ND HOSPJob Description:Essentia Health is seeking a Laboratory Manager to join our team. This hybrid/remote position will oversee laboratory operations across multiple locations in our West Market, including Ada, Fosston, and Graceville, Minnesota. Location assignments may be adjusted based on organizational needs within the West Market.This role requires a minimum of one onsite visit per month to each assigned location.Education Qualifications:Graduate of a four-year degree in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS)ORMeets Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) guidelines for the complexity of laboratory testing for alternative routeWork Experience:Minimum of 5 years of previous experience in a hospital or clinic laboratory that includes two years of leadership experience.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the operations of clinic and/or hospital laboratories.Manage laboratory employees, including:Hiring and onboardingScheduling and staffingConflict resolutionPerformance evaluationsEmployee developmentManage daily laboratory workflow and ensure operational efficiency.Develop, implement, and maintain laboratory policies and procedures.Conduct financial review and manage laboratory budgets and resources.Lead continuous quality management and process improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.Serve as the CLIA director and/or technical consultant for designated laboratories.Interact directly with patients of all ages, as needed.Develop and maintain client relationships with organizations outside Essentia Health.Participate in assigned Laboratory Department teams to support the laboratory system’s strategic plan and objectives.Collaborate with other departments and committees to maintain a high level of patient care.Promote and support the mission and vision of Essentia Health.Licensure/Certification Qualifications:Current American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent certificationMaintains licensure per state requirement if working in North Dakota sites or Moorhead, MN siteFTE:1Possible Remote/Hybrid Option:RemoteShift Rotation:Day Rotation (United States of America)Shift Start Time:DaysShift End Time:DaysWeekends:NoHolidays:NoCall Obligation:NoUnion:Union Posting Deadline:Compensation Range:$92,227.20 - $138,340.80Employee Benefits at Essentia Health:
