Laboratory Director

Pride Health is hiring for a Laboratory Director to lead and support daily operations of a clinical laboratory in Liberal, KS 67901. Job Summary

Laboratory Director to oversee hospital laboratory operations, staff, quality, and regulatory compliance. The laboratory supports Chemistry, Hematology, Serology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, Blood Bank, Molecular, and Microbiology testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of the hospital laboratory.
• Supervise laboratory staff and ensure adequate staffing and workflow.
• Maintain compliance with CAP and applicable regulatory standards .
• Oversee quality assurance, testing procedures, and laboratory performance.
• Support all laboratory departments, including Blood Bank and Microbiology.
• Participate in CAP surveys and inspections .
• Provide leadership, training, and performance oversight.
• Participate in shared on-call coverage and provide callback support when needed.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited Medical Technology program or equivalent .
• ASCP certification required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical, Physical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of medical laboratory experience.
• 2+ years of hospital laboratory supervisory experience.
• Ability to work across all areas of a hospital laboratory .
• CAP Survey experience required/preferred.
