Laboratory Assistant

Must Haves:

• Able to work in the lab at MHQ in Chicago 3 days a week
• Creative thinker capable of assessing systems ways of testing their limits

Skills

• Role is a hybrid hardware tester / Dev QE
• coding or scripting knowledge strongly preferred
• Experience with Lab/Hardware management and setup

Soft Skills

• Problem solver – should be able to think of ways the system can break; and test for those breaks
• Quality Oriented – should start with the end in mind – providing our client with a quality product
• Communication – should be ready to collaborate with stakeholder at multiple levels, including executives
• Time Management – needs to be able to schedule and parallelize tasks effectively while using limited testing environments
• Creativity – always looking for ways to improve the system and process, wants to own the process, takes pride in quality

• Jira\Zephyr

• Wireless connected devices (IoT)

Preferred:

• A developer mindset – focused on software development and systems design.
• Knowledge of Python, Playwright
• Github, Github Actions
