Must have a valid driver’s license.)We are hiring Labor Technicians to support vacuum and hydro-excavation operations across the Phoenix area. This role is hands-on, physically active, and essential to safe and efficient job-site performance.Why AIMS CompaniesOver 600 employees and 600+ pieces of equipment nationwide18 facilities serving 4,000+ customersStrong reputation for safety, training, and operational excellenceOpportunities for advancement and skill developmentWhat You’ll DoOperate and assist with vacuum and hydrovac excavation trucksRemove debris using shovels and hand toolsWork in confined spaces, including crawling and kneeling as neededLift and remove manhole covers and other heavy materialsHandle, sort, and deliver inventoryWork around heavy equipment, machinery, and biohazardsPerform routine inspections and minor equipment repairsSet up safe work areas and identify potential hazardsMaintain equipment cleanliness (interior and exterior)Complete service tickets, forms, and required documentationAttend safety meetings and follow all OSHA and company safety proceduresFollow DOT regulations when assisting with vehicle and equipment operationCommunicate effectively with team members and customersMaintain reliable attendance as part of a 2-person crewPerform additional duties as assignedMinimum RequirementsAbility to operate required equipmentAt least 18 years oldAble to communicate clearly in English (verbal and written)Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background checkAuthorized to work in the United StatesMust have a valid driver's licensePreferred QualificationsExperience with confined space entry, sewer line cleaning, or construction safetyStrong customer service and communication skillsProblem-solving and decision-making abilityWork EnvironmentOutdoor work in all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold)Exposure to chemicals, biohazards, and other hazardsMust be able to wear PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, etc.)Frequent standing, sitting, bending, twisting, climbing, and walkingOccasional use of protective visual or auditory equipmentTravel to job sites during the week; occasional overnight stays depending on project needsBenefits:Medical, dental, vision, voluntary life insurance, and voluntary short-term and long-term disability insurance after 90 days.7 paid Holidays.40 hours vacation pay after 1 year; 80 hours after 2 years.Sick pay according to state laws401(k) eligible with up to 50% company match on the first 6% after 1 year.* Per Diem is available to all employees regardless of employment classification (full-time, part-time, or temporary employees).
