Labor & Employment Litigation Associate

Overview

• Assisting in all aspects of class action and single-plaintiff litigation and administrative charge work.
• Day-to-day tasks include preparing position statements, evaluating claims, preparing for mediations, conducting discovery, taking depositions, drafting motions, and preparing cases for arbitration and trial.
• Responsible for researching federal, state, and local employment laws and providing strategic thinking in avoiding and resolving employment disputes.
• Depending on experience, the role may involve counseling HR professionals and business executives on compliance with employment laws and drafting employment agreements.
