Labor and Employment Counsel

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Labor and Employment Counsel to join its San Francisco office. The ideal candidate will have at least eight years of employment litigation experience, including work on single plaintiff matters and wage and hour class actions. Active membership in the California bar is required.

Duties

• Oversee all phases of litigation.
• Serve as lead or day-to-day case manager.
• Supervise associates and staff.
• Act as a primary client contact.
• Contribute to business development and client relationship growth.

Requirements

• Minimum eight years of employment litigation experience.
• Active member of the California bar.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously.
• Significant deposition and courtroom experience.
• Experience with employment advice and counseling preferred.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

Active California bar membership.
