The L&E group supports and collaborates with the firm's broader transactional and litigation practices and serves a diverse client base across various industries, both within California and nationwide. The team handles a wide range of employment matters - from day-to-day counseling and early dispute resolution to complex litigation, including single-plaintiff and representative actions. The firm often serves as outside general counsel and trusted advisor to its long-standing business clients.
The Role:
The ideal candidate will bring proven experience with California employment law , including handling pre-litigation matters, individual employment disputes, and class and PAGA actions . Familiarity with the full spectrum of employment claims - such as harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour issues - is essential. The role involves work in both state and federal court settings.

Key Qualifications:
- Solid experience drafting and responding to pleadings, discovery, dispositive motions (including motions to dismiss and for summary judgment), mediation briefs , and trial documents .
- Preparedness for and experience with depositions .
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills .
