Overview

Premier NYC employment law firm seeks experienced Senior/Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of experience doing employment litigation work with strong writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, discovery and motions and extensive writing experience
• Ability to handle complex cases
• Conduct legal research
• Make court appearances in courts in NYC and surrounding area
• Provide exemplary legal counsel and representation
• Delegate casework to legal support staff

Requirements

• NY State Admission
• 3+ years of employment litigation (plaintiff or defense)
• Strong Writing Skills
• Ability to be on-site in NYC Financial District office
• Experience with any or all of the following statutes is highly preferred:
• - Title VII of the Civil Rights Act
• - The New York State Human Rights Law
• - The New York City Human Rights Law
