Duties & Responsibilities: • Advise public agency clients on personnel matters
including hiring, discipline, and termination. • Handle matters related to Spotlight on Culture
discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and employee leave laws. • Represent

clients in administrative hearings, grievance arbitrations, and collective
bargaining negotiations. • Assist clients with labor compliance, policy • Professional Development
development, and internal investigations. • Collaborate with colleagues across • Child-Friendly Business Award

Qualifications • No Jerks Rule
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Focus on Schools and Community
• Admission to the State Bar of California and in good standing.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Partnering with school districts,
• Strong interest and/or experience working with public agencies or school community colleges, cities, counties
districts. and all types of public agencies is at
