Labor & Employment Associate (2–4 Years)Direct Counsel is representing a reputable law firm seeking a Labor & Employment Associate (2–4 Years) to join its Sacramento office.This opportunity is ideal for an employment attorney with 2–4 years of litigation experience who is looking to work on sophisticated labor and employment matters for employers across a wide range of industries.

The role includes both litigation and counseling work, with exposure to class actions, wage and hour matters, discrimination claims, and employment compliance issues.Responsibilities:Defend employers in:Employment class and individual litigationWage and hour disputesDiscrimination, harassment, and retaliation claimsUnfair competition mattersAdvise employers on:Leaves of absenceEmployee accommodationsPersonnel policiesWage and hour complianceEmployment agreementsConduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and employment-related documentsSupport all phases of litigation and client counseling mattersCollaborate with clients and legal teams on employment strategies and risk managementQualifications:2–4 years of labor and employment experienceStrong litigation background requiredWage and hour experience preferredExcellent writing, analytical, and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to take ownership of mattersStrong academic credentials requiredMust be admitted to the California BarCompensation & Benefits:Salary Range: $230,000 – $285,000 annuallyThe firm offers a comprehensive benefits package, including bonus eligibility, healthcare coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and additional wellness benefits.For more information or to apply confidentially, please contact Direct Counsel.
