Base pay range

$50.00/hr - $55.00/hr

Are you an experienced Buyer/Planner with a desire to excel? If so, then TALENT Software Services may have the job for you! Our client is seeking an experienced Buyer/Planner to work at their company in Arden Hill, MN.

Position Summary: Responsible for all aspects of materials, including planning, inventory, material control, and master schedule maintenance. This position also supports procurement and material control representation.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Plan, schedule, and monitor materials through the production cycle to ensure proper inventory levels.
• Perform physical and administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
• Locate sources for inventory and non-inventory items.
• Interact with suppliers for on-time delivery scheduling.
• Work with multiple internal customers to facilitate corporate purchasing.
• Professionally place purchase orders for indirect (MRO, non-product) goods and services in support of business requirements.
• Support finance and accounting on cost collection and inventory management for the month-end process.
• Collaborate closely with the Quality department to ensure all quality standards are met.
• Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that aligns with the Quality Policy and System, and the appropriate regulations for the area supported.
• Ensure employees are trained to do their work, and that their training is documented.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Build quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance with all quality requirements.

Qualifications:

• 6 - 9 years with a BA or 4 - 7 years with an MBA.
• Prior experience with SAP or a similar ERP System.
• Well-versed in MRP planning.
• Very strong communication skills and a high sense of urgency.
