Lab Technician, Test EngineerResponsibilities:Computer (PC & Mac) setup and maintenance (OS installation, network installations, virus protection, etc.)Receive and log test equipmentTrack/order/inventory of laboratory consumablesProcurement and inventory of electronic parts and toolsSupport test equipment calibration cycles working with equipment vendorsRF test execution when required during extensive testing campaignsRework of small components (0201 and 01005 sizes) on printed circuit boards, soldering of connectors onto traces on circuit boards, form factor disassembly and assemblyRequired Experience & Skills:Working knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and TCP/IP networkingMust have experience working in an environment that includes RF conducted and radiated testingStrong communication and organizational skills, attention to details and ability to multitask across various projects and tasksExperience procuring and keeping inventory of electronic parts, tools, and laboratory consumablesExperience with soldering of components onto multilayer printed circuit boardsFamiliarity with RF instrumentation (oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, etc.)Desired Experience & Skills:Mac OS familiarityExperience / knowledge of current cellular technologies and test equipmentExperience designing and assembling test fixtures and jigsEducation:Associate degree in Electrical engineering or equivalentLocations: Cupertino CA (onsite)Duration: 6+ monthsPay Range: $50-$60/h (DOE)
