JOB SUMMARY
To research the interaction of fatigue cracks with microstructure within metal alloys. The research will consist of completing experiments, analysis, and writing manuscripts for publishing in archival journals. The job will also consist of training graduate student researchers and other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES
- 34% - Complete fatigue crack growth experiments, analyze the data, and write manuscripts for publication in archival journals.
- 33% - Train graduate students on how to use equipment and software.
- 33% - Write manuals on using equipment and software.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION
Expected Salary Range $36/hour - $36/hour Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL
Normal Operations - Required to follow emergency facility closure and modified operations directives, and not normally expected to work on-site during emergency situations.
