Demonstrated lab management experience with specific examples of previous lab oversight roles — this is the core of the role
Expert soldering and rework skills , specifically:
BGA rework (removal and replacement)
BGA reballing techniques
Must be able to demonstrate skills during a practical assessment following virtual screening
Basic bench setup and testing capability — comfortable configuring test equipment and performing basic functional/bring‑up checks on hardware
Strong communication skills — able to coordinate clearly with engineering teams, surface issues early, and document work so others can follow it
Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and a systematic approach
Proven job history showing stability and progression in similar roles (this is not an entry‑level position)
Ability to take ownership and work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Skills
Direct, succinct communication — gets to the point clearly and keeps stakeholders informed without unnecessary back‑and‑forth
Linux system experience (the more experience, the better)
