• Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory / Imaging
• Assignment Type: Travel Cath Lab Technologist
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,690 - $2,890
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• Shifts per Week: 4
• Schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 4x10s, with no set day off; evening and weekend call required for emergency cardiac procedures

Cath Lab Tech Job Requirements

• 2+ years of Cath Lab experience, including experience with Impella, telemetry, and IABP
• Ability to independently read telemetry strips and pass a telemetry exam on day 1 with 85% or better
• Active Massachusetts RT(R) license required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• RCIS certification preferred
• IR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform Cath Lab technologist duties under the direction of the cardiology and radiology leadership team
• Support hemodynamic monitoring and ambulatory monitoring operations
• Assist with radiologic operations in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Maintain high-quality imaging standards and perform quality control tasks
• Troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment as needed and coordinate service requests when appropriate
• Prepare patients for invasive cardiac procedures and assist throughout the procedure
• Complete patient billing forms and other required procedural documentation accurately
• Perform daily calibration and maintenance of film processing equipment
• Take evening and weekend call for emergency procedures
• Maintain confidentiality, follow facility policies, and promote a professional, respectful care environment
