L3 Network Engineer (Firewall Expert)Immediate need for a talented L3 Network Engineer (Firewall Expert). This is a fulltime opportunity and is located in NYC, NY (Hybrid).Pay Range: $130,000 - $150,000K/annum. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:Design, implement and transition CheckPoint & FortiGate firewalls, Catalyst & Nexus switches, load balancers (F5 & Citrix), Web proxy technologies (Zscaler, McAfee) wireless LAN controller, Cisco ISE and other network solutions to meet the needs of customers.Troubleshoots LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, routing, switching, VPN, firewall, and VoIP equipment, including a broad range of devices.Develop and maintain technical deliverables including network assessments, capacity planning, detailed design documents, implementation/test plans configuration templates and scripts.Perform root cause analysis of critical outage and incidents.Subject Matter Expert ability to act individually on L3 queriesMaintain up-to-date industry certifications.Understand business requirements and design solutions accordinglyResolve incidents, escalate to management and vendors if necessaryPerform root cause analysis for P1/P2/P3 and P4 incidents and/or proactively based on business needsEnsure service performance expectations are met with service levels and qualityRaise/escalate any service-related issues and risks to managementProvide guidance and support to team membersKey Requirements and Technology Experience:Key skills: FirewallRoutingSwitchingFortinetOur client is a leading Information Technology & Consulting Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar fulltime positions.
