To support a growing technology team, the full-time remote Kubernetes Engineer with IASAE II Certification will manage and orchestrate containerized applications, focusing on cloud-based microservices architecture in AWS EKS, while automating deployment processes and ensuring system performance and security. Key responsibilities Develop and maintain Kubernetes deployments, ensuring scalability and reliability of applications Automate deployment processes and improve operational efficiency through effective scaling strategies Monitor cluster health, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipelines Required qualifications BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an accredited institution IASAE II certification (CASP+CE, CLSSP associate) or CSSLP, or willingness to obtain within 6 months Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts and experience with containerization technologies like Docker Familiarity with Kubernetes networking, including CNI plugins and ingress controllers Experience with tools such as Helm and Kustomize for managing Kubernetes applications
