Kubernetes DeveloperLocation: Salt Lake City, UTWe are looking for a Kubernetes Developer responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable containerized applications using Kubernetes.
The role involves close collaboration with DevOps, cloud, and development teams to build reliable, secure, and high-performance systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and manage applications on Kubernetes clustersBuild and maintain Docker containersWrite and manage Kubernetes manifests (Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress)Implement CI/CD pipelines for containerized applicationsMonitor cluster health, performance, and availabilityTroubleshoot and resolve Kubernetes and container-related issuesImplement scaling, rolling updates, and self-healing mechanismsWork with Helm charts for application packaging and deploymentEnsure security best practices (RBAC, network policies, secrets management)Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and cloud teams (AWS/GCP/Azure)Required Skills & QualificationsStrong experience with Kubernetes (K8s)Hands-on experience with Docker / containerizationProficiency in YAML and Kubernetes resource definitionsExperience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Argo CD)Knowledge of Linux system administrationExperience with cloud platforms (AWS EKS, Azure AKS, or GCP GKE)Understanding of microservices architectureFamiliarity with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)Nice-to-Have SkillsKubernetes certifications ( CKA / CKAD / CKS )Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)Service mesh knowledge ( Istio, Linkerd )Scripting in Python, Go, or BashEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
