Are you 21 or older with a clean driving record? Great! Our greatest hiring need is Drivers, and we'd love to talk with you about joining our Krew.
We're looking for energetic, outgoing team players who love interacting with people and want a part-time job that's equal parts hard work, fun, and community impact.
Every new team member starts as a Server. As a Server, you'll be the face of Kona Ice—creating memorable experiences while serving shaved ice and smoothies at schools, sports tournaments, festivals, corporate events, neighborhood celebrations, birthday parties, and many other community events throughout the year.
After demonstrating excellent customer service and teamwork, employees who are 21 years of age or older with a clean driving record are eligible to train for promotion to a Driver. Drivers continue serving customers alongside the rest of the Krew while taking on the additional responsibility of safely transporting our trucks to and from events.
Previous experience driving larger vehicles (such as school buses, box trucks, delivery trucks, or similar vehicles) is preferred but not required. A CDL is not required, although it is certainly a plus. If you have a great attitude and a willingness to learn, we'll provide the training you need to succeed.

Pay
- Servers: Starting at $15/hour, plus tips and performance bonuses.
- Drivers: Starting at $20/hour, plus tips and performance bonuses.
Driver/Server Responsibilities
- Safely drive and operate a Kona Ice truck (Drivers).
- Arrive at scheduled events prepared to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Prepare and serve shaved ice and smoothies with speed, accuracy, and a smile.
- Create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for every customer.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
- Stock, clean, and prepare trucks before and after events.
- Complete required documentation accurately.
- Communicate inventory, maintenance, and equipment needs to management.
- Represent Kona Ice professionally at every event.
