Hiring: Kogito Technical Lead / Senior Developer

We are looking for an experienced Kogito Technical Lead / Senior Developer to join our engineering team and work on large‑scale enterprise process automation initiatives for a Fortune 100 healthcare client.
This role focuses on building cloud‑native, microservices‑based solutions using Kogito, Java, and Drools, enabling intelligent business workflows and decision automation.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop microservices using Kogito, Java, and Drools for business process automation
- Implement business workflows, asynchronous processes, human tasks, and event listeners
- Set up and manage jBPM / Kogito environments and deployment pipelines
- Integrate Kogito applications with enterprise systems using REST APIs and messaging platforms (Kafka, ActiveMQ)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for deployments on AWS, Azure, or OpenShift using Docker & Kubernetes
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize system performance
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and API specifications
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment with Product, QA, and Operations teams
Qualifications
- 5–6+ years of hands‑on Java development experience
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Kogito BPM
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong expertise in Kogito, Java, Drools, and jBPM
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / OpenShift
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, SOAP, and messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ)
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Exposure to Angular is a plus
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
