As a Porter, you'll play a vital role in supporting our culinary and front-of-house teams, ensuring our kitchens and workspaces remain clean, safe, and ready for service.

The Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, dishwashing areas, storage spaces, and common work areas. You'll help keep the operation running efficiently by ensuring equipment, dishes, and workstations are clean and sanitized while supporting the team wherever needed.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys staying active, working with a team, and being an essential part of delivering an exceptional guest experience.

• Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, sheet pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently throughout each shift.
• Operate the commercial dish machine safely and correctly.
• Keep dish stations clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Empty trash and recycling throughout the day and transport waste safely to designated areas.
• Sweep, mop, sanitize, and maintain kitchen floors and work areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.

• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries.
• Properly store products and rotate inventory using FIFO practices.
• Restock cleaning supplies, paper goods, and kitchen essentials.
• Help maintain walk-ins, dry storage, and back-of-house organization.
• Assist cooks and bakers with basic support tasks as directed.

• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
• Respond quickly to changing business needs.
• Help maintain a positive, respectful, and professional work environment.
• Communicate equipment or maintenance issues to management promptly.

• Take on additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned to support business needs and ensure the overall success of the team and operation.

• Previous restaurant or dishwashing experience is helpful but not required, we're happy to train the right person.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and teamwork.
