Role Description:

The Kitchen Manager and Cook is a full-time, on-site role based in Jonesboro, AR, responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations and preparing high-quality food products aligned with SANY’s nutrition and functional food standards. This role includes planning and executing food preparation, cooking recipes to specification, monitoring food quality and safety, and coordinating with production and quality teams to meet manufacturing schedules. The Kitchen Manager and Cook will manage inventory and ordering of ingredients, maintain a clean and compliant kitchen environment, and implement efficient workflows. The position also involves training and guiding kitchen staff, supporting new product trials, and collaborating with team members to continuously improve processes and product consistency.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Food Preparation and Cooking, with the ability to follow recipes and production specifications accurately.
• Candidates should possess experience in Food & Beverage operations, including handling ingredients, portion control, and basic kitchen production processes.
• Candidates should possess competencies in Food Quality, including adherence to food safety standards, hygiene practices, and quality control checks.
• Candidates should possess abilities in Culinary Management, including organizing kitchen workflow, coordinating staff, and managing inventory and supplies.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in commercial or industrial kitchens, knowledge of functional or health-focused foods, and familiarity with food safety certifications (e.g., ServSafe or equivalent).
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, reliability in time management, and the ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, collaborative environment are essential.
