Job Location and Aircraft

  • Location: OCONUS - Pacific AOR (multiple overseas sites)
  • Aircraft: Beechcraft B300/350 (King Air 350 series)
  • Mission: Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR)
  • Roster: 90/90 rotation
  • Security: Eligible for U.S. SECRET clearance
  • Travel: Extensive OCONUS deployment; CONUS travel as required

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Pilot in Command for B300/350 ISR missions in compliance with GFR-approved procedures, host-nation rules, FARs, and company policies.
  • Plan and execute missions end-to-end: preflight, flight planning, performance and weight-and-balance, fuel planning, and post-flight activities.
  • Operate safely in all-weather, day/night environments; ensure crew coordination and mission discipline throughout.
  • Coordinate with the Chief Pilot on crew staffing, scheduling, training adequacy, and mission support.
  • Oversee OCONUS sites, manage mission briefings/execution, crew equipment, safety programs, operations specifications, and flight-department data.
  • Conduct flight operations as PIC, SIC, or Instructor Pilot as mission requirements dictate.
  • Maintain professional communications with teammates, customers, the prime contractor, and U.S. Government personnel; prepare timely mission reports and briefs.
  • Support the Safety Management System; coordinate aircraft servicing and fueling; document discrepancies for maintenance review.
  • Mentor new personnel and perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship with a current U.S. passport; eligible to obtain a SECRET clearance.
  • FAA Class II Medical.
  • Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Multi-Engine Land (MEL); ATP preferred.
  • Current type rating in the operational aircraft (B300/350) or in a similar aircraft.
  • Flight experience minimums:
    • 4,000 hours total time (note: a separate posting references 3,000 TT; higher threshold applies).
    • 2,000 hours multi-engine fixed-wing PIC.
    • 500 hours in the required or similar type aircraft.
  • Prior OCONUS rotational experience and completion of U.S. Government pre-deployment training (or ability to complete).
  • Ability to pass a drug test and meet all deployment medical/safety requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of FAA rules, regulations, and flight/ground operating procedures.
  • Proficiency in reporting and documentation; collaborative mindset with excellent communication and customer-service skills.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Experience

  • Former active-duty DoD or U.S. Government contractor ISR experience.
  • Instructor Pilot (IP) or Standardization Pilot (SP) experience.

Schedule & Conditions

  • 90/90 rotational schedule with extensive travel to austere and potentially hazardous locations.
  • Work in varied physical conditions, including confined spaces; wear respirators or other protective equipment.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs and support aircraft/mission readiness in remote environments.
