Kindergarten Supervisor
The person in this position will be responsible for supervision of kindergarten students during the school day. The successful candidate will work 2.5 hours a day and have the chance to support the learning of kindergarten students. Duties include small group work/support, read alouds, 1:1 student interaction and assessment, supervision of an entire classroom, kindergarten recess, etc. Hours are 10:45-1:15 on student contact days.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with young children, preferably in a school environment
- Ability to take direction
- Ability to multitask and supervise students in an environment that is highly engaging
- Flexibility and patience
- Ability to communicate effectively with students
- Ability to provide positive and effective supervision
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to make decisions independently
