Responsive RecruiterReports to: Director, Kids' Ministry FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly) Hours per week: 20 hours, Part Time Campus: VieraWe exist to glorify God by being a loving community where people are saved, set free, discipled, empowered, and sent out to fulfill their God-given calling.Job SummaryThis position provides assistants with operational logistics/supplies, communication, volunteer coordination, ensuring weekly programs, check-ins, and special events run safely and efficiently.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSetting up classrooms, sanitizing spaces and ensuring adequate supplies.Maintaining all resources and ordering more supplies as needed and noted by Serve Team members.Focus on routine communication with parents, staff, and volunteers including a monthly newsletter discussing curriculum, etc.Maintain and update family information in Ministry PlatformResponsible for recruiting and onboarding classroom leaders, teachers, and support Team members year-round.Ensure classrooms maintain appropriate adult-to-child ratios.This will include creation of a Team based scheduling system to build consistent relationships for the Serve Teams, parents, and children.Adhere to all Calvary Chapel childcare policies and procedures.Attend all mandatory childcare and Calvary Kids Viera meetings.Assist with other duties as assigned by Supervisor.Job Skills and Competencies• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and communications skills, especially with parents• Proficiency in church management software, database systems, and basic office applications.• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook for email)• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information• Ability to lift 35 poundsOther Qualifications• Calvary Chapel Viera must be your home church with regular attendance• Keep the ministry in the forefront of all you do, with a servant heart and optimistic attitude• Conduct yourself in a manner that reinforces the core values and mission of Calvary Chapel and agree to our Statement of Faith• Function as a productive part of the church staff and attend staff meetings in coordination with direct supervisor• Demonstrate a mature, ongoing personal relationship with Jesus through spiritual and moral integrity• Strong commitment to the vision and mission of Calvary Chapel Melbourne• Fruit of the Spirit is consistently displayed in your life, as a reflection of God's love to colleagues and visitorsCompensation$14.00 per hour
