Seeking a remote Kernel Developer (eBPF) on a contract basis, the successful candidate will develop and modify code in the Linux Networking Stack to enhance performance for high-speed NICs while utilizing their expertise in Linux kernel and network stack programming. Key responsibilities Develop and modify code in the Linux Networking Stack and supporting interfaces Analyze and enhance performance for high-speed network interface controllers (NICs) Utilize tools and methodologies to analyze hardware and software elements on the platform Required qualifications B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field Experience in Linux kernel development, particularly with the network stack and interfaces Proficiency in C programming and device driver development Knowledge of TCP/IP and emerging tunneling protocols such as VxLAN and NVGRE Familiarity with eBPF, user mode networking, and OpenVswitch/VxLAN/NSH development
