To support efficient billing processes, the full-time Kentucky Licensed Medicare Specialist will manage claims resolution, follow up on unpaid Medicare and Medicare Advantage claims, and ensure accurate billing practices while working remotely. Key responsibilities: Monitors and resolves claims on the discharged not final billed (DNFB) list Ensures timely electronic filing of claims and follows up on unpaid accounts Documents follow-up efforts and maintains accurate account records in the AR system Required qualifications: High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent One year of experience in patient registration, billing, or equivalent Working knowledge of medical and insurance terminology Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats General computer knowledge and ability to learn relevant systems
