Kaspar Outdoors (Stiller): Machine Operator

Machine OperatorKaspar Outdoors is seeking a Machine Operator to operate and perform basic setups of CNC machines used in manufacturing high-quality components. This role is responsible for ensuring parts meet quality standards and that all work is performed safely and efficiently in alignment with production requirements.Machine Operator responsibilities include:Operate multiple CNC machines to meet production goalsRetrieve and input data using computer commands and graphic displaysCalculate machining parameters including feed rate, speed, tool size, and spindle locationStore and manage layout data in computer memory for repeatable processesTransfer layout and part programs to storage devicesPerform initial quality control checks on all produced partsUse digitizing equipment to create patterns, as neededFollow all safety protocols including wearing required PPEAll other duties as assigned by managementMachine Operator skills and competencies include:Understanding of quality workmanship standardsBlueprint reading and basic math proficiencyFamiliarity or willingness to learn Fanuc, Haas, and Mitsubishi controllersStrong visual inspection skills and quality-at-the-source mindsetClear interpersonal communication and teamworkMachine Operator qualifications include:CNC machine operation and setup experience2+ years in a manufacturing environment preferredWillingness to learn and operate advanced equipmentWork environment includes:Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions including loud noise, heat, humidity, and exposure to airborne particles.
