Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities
Consistent with the grant stipulations, the K-TAP Coordinator will provide a variety of services designed to aid eligible students (K-TAP recipients) in completing their educational objectives. The director will act as a liaison.
  • Developing and monitoring programs.
  • Job placement (work-study positions).
  • Mentoring services.
  • Tutorial and study group assistance.
  • Internship placement.
  • Career counseling.
  • Child care service referrals.
  • Job shadowing placement.
  • Retention counseling.
  • Workplace coaching.
  • Record-keeping.
  • Evaluation of programs per grant requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements
  • Minimum of two years' experience counseling adults.
