Requirements / Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree and valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential authorizing service in school counseling.
Comments and Other Information
• Ability to listen, identify, and determine the nature of student problems and needs and to provide assistance. • Ability to interact with staff, students, parents, and others in a positive, open, friendly professional manner. • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and deal effectively with stress and conflict, as well as with multiple and concurrent job demands. • Ability to use sound judgment and reasoning to perform the essential functions of the job. • Ability to work independently with a minimum of guidance and supervision, following oral and written directions.
