Job Title: Junior UX Designer
Location: San Antonio or Plano, TX
Work Arrangement: Hybrid / Onsite Campus
Contract Length: 12 Months
Support key member experiences including Join, Onboarding, and Member Recognition & Rewards. This position is designed for recent graduates through approximately 2–4 years of professional experience and focuses on human-centered design, visual design, research, and mobile experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in UX Design or a closely related human-centered field
- Recent graduate or approximately 2–4 years of UX Design experience
- Demonstrated understanding of human-centered design principles and methodologies
- Good visual design skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Figma
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong communication, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills
- Portfolio demonstrating user-centered design and visual design capabilities
- Academic portfolio projects are acceptable
Responsibilities
- Apply human-centered design methodologies, including the Double Diamond framework
- Design intuitive and engaging experiences based on user insights
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Analysts, and Legal partners
- Participate in user research, including interviews, usability testing, synthesis, and insights generation
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to inform and validate design decisions
- Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes using Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and pen and paper
- Participate in design critiques and incorporate feedback into iterative design solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing for Native Apps or Progressive Web Applications (PWAs)
- Graphic design experience
- Motion design experience
- Interest in emerging technologies and integrating AI into product experiences and design workflows
