Supporting the VA's Office of Suicide Prevention, the full-time Junior Trainer will plan, develop, and deliver training programs for VA healthcare staff to enhance their skills in identifying and assisting Veterans at elevated risk. Key responsibilities Plan, design, and execute instructor-led and web-based training courses aligned with care management protocols Conduct training needs assessments and develop targeted workshop and remedial training modules Administer training activities within a Learning Management System (LMS) and evaluate training effectiveness Required qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in training development or instructional design, preferably in a healthcare or government setting Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Public Health, Psychology, or a related field Prior experience with a federal agency or government healthcare client is preferred Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential Demonstrated proficiency with Learning Management Systems and virtual training delivery platforms
