Junior to Midlevel M&A Associate

We are working closely with a leading AmLaw 50 firm on an unposted, confidential search for a junior to midlevel M&A associate in New York. The firm's top-ranked M&A practice advises leading private equity sponsors and global strategic clients on large-scale domestic and cross-border deals, including buyouts, take-privates, carve-outs, and joint ventures. Associates work directly with partners in a collaborative culture focused on associate development.

Have you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.

Ideal candidates will have:

• 2-4 years of M&A experience at an AmLaw 100 firm
• Represent strategic buyers and sellers, PE sponsors, and portfolio companies in domestic and cross-border M&A, divestitures, and joint ventures
• Draft and negotiate purchase, merger, stockholder, and operating agreements
• Manage buy-side and sell-side due diligence, including disclosure schedules and specialist coordination
• Run deals from signing through closing and advise on corporate governance
• NY bar admission or the ability to become licensed
