Responsibilities Of The Junior Project Estimator
- Prepare budgets and detailed proposals for commercial interior fit-out projects.
- Analyze drawings and specifications to determine project scope and pricing strategy.
- Perform quantity take-offs and develop pricing using internal data and subcontractor quotations.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids, ensuring alignment with project requirements and scope.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a construction-related discipline, or a minimum of three years of estimating experience in a general contractor or subcontracting environment.
- Proven experience with commercial and industrial fit-out projects.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, MEP, civil, and structural drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with estimating software is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree.
