We are partnering with a boutique luxury residential design studio in Manhattan, made up of a close-knit team of interior designers and architects.
They are looking for a talented Junior Interior Designer with a strong eye for both design and technical detail. You will bring a great vendor network, solid product and materials knowledge, and the confidence to jump in wherever the team needs you.
Responsibilities
- Assist on all stages of luxury residential projects, from concept to installation
- Produce and update drawings and technical documentation in AutoCAD
- Source and specify materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures and products
- Manage vendor relationships, samples, quotes and orders
- Prepare client presentations, mood boards and material schedules
- Support coordination with architects, contractors and trades
- Attend site visits and help with installation
Requirements
- Experience in luxury residential interior design
- Ideally some experience in a smaller studio, where you have worn many hats
- Strong technical eye and attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge of materials, finishes and products
- An established vendor network
- Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit knowledge is a big plus
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deliver on time
