Overview
Reporting to the Head of Nursing, the selected candidate will be responsible for the prevention of infection, surveillance, investigation and control of infection.
Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring infection prevention and control practices across the hospital.
- Participate in surveillance and data collection related to infection cases.
- Support the delivery of staff training and awareness sessions on infection control.
- Assist in implementing hospital infection control policies and procedures.
- Contribute to infection control reports and provide input to the Infection Control Committee.
- Educate patients and staff under supervision regarding infection prevention measures.
Qualifications
- Minimum - Certificate in General Nursing
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience (experience and certification in infection control will be an advantage)
- Possess leadership skills
- Demonstrate self-motivation, quick learner, organized, attention to detail and able to multi-task
