Junior High School Guidance Counselor
McCook Public Schools is looking for a Junior High School Guidance Counselor for the 2025/2026 School Year. A current Nebraska Teaching Certificate with a Counseling endorsement is required. Questions about this position can be directed to Junior High Principal, Mr. Chad Lyons at or x 2.

Salary is dependent upon experience and education. Benefits include retirement, full family health insurance, single dental insurance, leave, and long term disability. Extra Duty positions are available but not required. EOE

- A new teacher that is certified to teach in the assigned areas PK-12 will receive a signing bonus of $2,000 each year for the first three consecutive years for a total signing bonus of $6,000 (see Negotiated Agreement Addendum 2025).
