Primary Responsibilities
- Review business and functional requirements to ensure they are clear and testable.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate system functionality, business processes, usability, and data accuracy.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects through resolution.
- Use Azure DevOps Test Plans for test case management, execution, and defect tracking.
- Support backlog, work item, bug, incident, and issue management in Azure DevOps.
- Perform basic API testing using Postman.
- Support test environment readiness, test data preparation, deployment validation, and production testing.
- Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and delivered functionality.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, requirements reviews, sprint planning, and release activities.
- Communicate testing status, defects, risks, and issues to project stakeholders.
- Support UAT coordination, defect triage, and post-release validation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing practices.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Understanding of Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, and SAFe methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans, Backlogs, and Dashboards.
- Experience writing and executing detailed test cases/scripts from business requirements.
- Basic knowledge of API testing and Postman.
- Experience with defect identification, documentation, tracking, and retesting.
- Understanding of functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and UAT.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.
