Leveraging strong analytical skills, the full-time remote Junior Financial Analyst will assist in budget preparation, conduct data modeling and trend analysis, and provide actionable financial insights to support internal decision-making. Key responsibilities Assists in the preparation and analytical review of the agency budget, identifying historical trends for future projections Performs data modeling and trend analysis for operating and strategic plans, including monthly and quarterly forecasts Produces monthly budget monitoring reports and conducts financial reporting to support strategic decision-making Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 0-3 years of relevant experience required Demonstrated foundational understanding of accounting principles and practices Familiarity with reporting tools equivalent to Power BI is highly desirable Basic knowledge of budget development, management, and reporting requirements
