Jr Engineering Test TechnicianThe Jr Engineering Test Technician will be part of the engineering test team and will work to develop, build, and execute test plans, and test fixtures to support product development testing, and end-of-line testing. The ideal candidate will have background in basic mechanical and electrical diagrams, mechanical and electrical assemblies, and basic software programming.Essential FunctionsDesign, build, operate, and maintain test fixtures and automated test equipment for PCBs and electro-mechanical assembliesWork with engineers and other technicians to develop and maintain test systems to automate and streamline engineering laboratory product testingWork with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, develop, and execute test plans to ensure qualityCollaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate testing into the product development cycleCreate and maintain automated test scripts test fixturesCreate, maintain, and present test reportsDesign and implement test fixtures for the entire product lifecycle, including design, manufacturing, troubleshoot, repair, and improveEnsure that all testing equipment, hardware, and software is properly calibrated and maintainedAnalyze and report test results to the development team and make recommendations for improvementsParticipate in product design reviews to identify potential quality issues early in the development cycleKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExperience utilizing LabVIEW, Python, Java, or other programming languages is preferredFamiliarity with testing of PCBAs, electro-mechanical, and electronic assembliesFamiliarity designing and implementing test fixturesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills in English.
