nPosition Overview: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Professional Engineer (P.E.) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of successful project delivery. This role involves working closely with clients, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to design and implement electrical systems that meet client needs and comply with industry standards.
nKey Responsibilities:
nPVSYST modeling, electrical design drawings & optimization, DAS design drawings, utility interconnection support, support during construction and as-built drawings for solar & substation projects.
nMedium and low voltage electrical design, protection & control drawings, rigid bus design.
nElectrical studies include arch flash, load flow, circuit, cable ampacity and protective device coordination including grounding study.
nDesign and develop electrical systems for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and standards.
nConduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project requirements and constraints.
nCollaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on electrical engineering solutions.
nPrepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, and drawings.
nOversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
nQualifications:
nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
nProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
nMinimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the renewable solar industry.
nStrong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
nProficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ETAP.
nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
nAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
