Our client, an Am Law 200 law firm, is seeking an associate with 2-3 years of litigation experience to join their Commercial Litigation practice group in Chicago, Illinois.
Compensation
- Base pay range : $235,000.00/yr - $260,000.00/yr
- The estimated salary range for this position is $235,000 - $260,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.

Responsibilities
- Assist in all phases of commercial litigation matters, including drafting briefs and motions, handling fact and expert discovery, and engaging in deposition and trial preparation.
- Assume significant responsibility in the management of matters, and maintain a front-facing role with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of litigation experience
- Experience drafting briefs and motions, handling fact and expert discovery, and engaging in deposition and trial preparation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a track record of insightful research and analysis, and persuasive writing abilities
- Ability to assume significant responsibility in the management of matters, and ability to take on a front-facing role with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts
- JD from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
- Admitted to the Illinois State Bar (and in good standing)
