Changeis, Inc. is seeking a Junior Cloud Engineer to support enterprise IT shared services operations within a cabinet-level federal agency environment . This entry-level role focuses on day-to-day cloud infrastructure management and incident resolution within a federal Common Operating Environment.
The ideal candidate brings foundational cloud computing knowledge and a willingness to grow within a fast-paced federal IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer cloud infrastructure supporting enterprise shared services on a day-to-day basis
- Resolve incident tickets related to cloud services in accordance with SLA requirements
- Monitor cloud resource utilization and report anomalies to senior engineers
- Provide technical solutions to problems of basic scope and complexity involving one or two factors
- Assist in provisioning, configuring, and maintaining cloud resources per established procedures
- Document incident resolutions and contribute to the team knowledge base
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Basic cloud computing skills in at least one major platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Understanding of IT service management frameworks (ITIL fundamentals)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal public trust clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), or equivalent foundational certification
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy)
