Duties

• Cover court and arbitration appearances, including hearings and conferences.
• Participate in case management and status conferences.
• Engage in informal discovery conferences and orders to show cause.
• Manage arbitration processes and preliminary conferences.
• Conduct and defend depositions and ex parte hearings.
• Prepare appearance outlines and report results to responsible attorneys.
• Review work product for accuracy and strategic advantage.
• Assist with motion work, including research and drafting.

Requirements

• California Bar admission, licensed and in good standing.
• 1-3 years of civil litigation experience; employment law exposure preferred.
• Comfortable and credible in courtroom settings.
• Excellent legal writing and issue-spotting skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong independent judgment.
• Collaborative mindset and tech-forward approach.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the California State Bar.
