Job Title: Junior Attorney (Open to Law School students also!)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Attorney to join our legal team. This role is ideal for a recently licensed attorney or early-career professional looking to develop practical legal skills in a collaborative environment. The Junior Attorney will support senior attorneys in case preparation, legal research, and client representation.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and other legal documents
Assist in preparing cases for trial, hearings, and depositions
Review and analyze contracts, agreements, and legal records
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel under supervision
Attend court proceedings and provide support to lead attorneys
Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with deadlines
Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in (State) (or pending admission)
Strong legal research and writing skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior internship, clerkship, or relevant legal experience
Familiarity with legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis)
Interest or experience in (practice area, e.g., corporate law, healthcare law, litigation)
