Job Description

We seek a talented and motivated junior attorney with one to three years of experience to join our Labor & Employment Group. This role offers hands-on training, meaningful responsibility, and the opportunity to work closely with partners and senior attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of employment defense litigation, including factual investigation, drafting position statements and pleadings, discovery, motion practice and hearings.
• Support case management and day-to-day litigation activities.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, correspondence, and legal documents.
• Support counseling of clients on employment-related issues.
• Assist in drafting employment policies, agreements, and training materials.
• Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on litigation strategy and client matters.

Qualifications

• Excellent academic credentials
• Admitted to practice in New York
• One to three years of experience (law firm experience preferred)
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple assignments
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

New York Disclaimer

This position is based in New York. The expected salary range for this role is $150,000 to $200,000 commensurate with experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
