We are looking for a Junior to Intermediate Architect to join our New York team. The ideal candidate has a strong design sensibility, a solid technical foundation, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with senior architects and project teams. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a variety of hospitality-focused projects, including ground-up developments, renovations, and adaptive reuse.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with architectural design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
- Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings and documentation using Revit.
- Work independently on assigned tasks while following project direction and design objectives.
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
- Support project teams in resolving design and technical challenges.
- Assist with reviewing drawings and documentation for compliance with applicable building codes and zoning requirements.
Qualifications
- Degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Approximately 2+ years of professional architectural experience.
- Working knowledge of Revit, with the ability to develop technical proficiency.
- Strong design sensibility and attention to detail.
- Some experience with construction documents (CDs) and construction administration (CA).
- Ability to take direction, manage assigned responsibilities, and work with a degree of independence.
- Hospitality project experience is preferred; food and beverage (F&B) and multifamily residential experience are also valuable.
- Experience working on projects in New York City, including familiarity with NYC Building Code and zoning regulations, is a plus.
