Application Developer (Azure/.NET)

Position Overview

We are seeking an Application Developer with experience in Azure and .NET technologies to help build, enhance, and support enterprise applications. This role will work closely with Agile Scrum teams to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions that support critical business operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about cloud technologies, API development, and delivering high-quality software in a collaborative environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 1 year of professional software development experience.
• Experience developing applications using Microsoft .NET technologies and SQL Server.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and messaging platforms such as Azure Event Hub and Azure Service Bus.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and Agile development practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automated testing and test automation frameworks.
• Exposure to Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting production applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions for medium- to large-scale enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with Scrum team members, architects, and product owners to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
• Participate in application design discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Help estimate, refine, and plan upcoming development work.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven solutions within Azure.
• Support production systems and assist in troubleshooting application issues.
• Continuously learn and apply new technologies, tools, and best practices.
• Mentor and support junior developers as needed.
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to development standards.
